**To tag a resource**

The following `tag-resource`` adds a tag to a resource. ::

    aws memorydb tag-resource \
        --resource-arn arn:aws:memorydb:us-east-1:491658xxxxxx:cluster/my-cluster \
        --tags Key="mykey",Value="myvalue"

Output::
